The Fish River Canyon

The Fish River Canyon is the second largest canyon worldwide after the Grand Canyon in the USA . The Canyon forms part of the state-run Ais-Ais Richtersveld Transfontier Park. Entrance to the Park is situated 10 kilometers from the well-known view point Hell`s Bend at the Hobas Restcamp.

Visitors have to report here. It is important to know that during the summer month the Canyon hike is closed due to the heat. The Fish River Hiking Trail can be conducted during the months, It covers a length of 85 km and the descent into the Canyon is only allowed for hikers doing the trail.

Itinerary

Day 1: Fish River Canyon Roadhouse Canyon

You will be picked up at 08:00 am and we head down south about 632 km to the town of Keetmashoop Hardap region.

After arriving at Canyon roadhouse we go for a sundowner until dinner time is ready we overnight in canyon roadhouse dinner.

Day 2 WINDHOEK

The next morning we wake up at 07;00am after breakfast we head for a morning canyon drive for 2 to 3 hours.

After the morning drive we we get ready to Drive back to Windhoek, we are traveling on the main road, passing through a town of Mariental , The stalls operated on a local co-operative basis and are one of the best places to shop for truly Namibian souvenirs.

We are due back into the city afternoon time and you will be dropped off at your accommodation on our return.
